About Auffr – Link Discovery, Human Curation

Discover links that matter. Curated by people, not algorithms.

Our Mission

The web is overflowing with incredible content—articles, tools, research, videos, and hidden gems—but finding it has become harder than ever. Search engines prioritize popularity. Social feeds prioritize engagement. Great links get lost.

Auffr exists to fix that.

We are a link discovery platform where real people sign up, share links to websites that interest them, and uncover what others have found. No viral gimmicks. No black-box rankings. Just human-driven discovery.

Meet Grace Fernando – Founder

Grace Fernando founded Auffr to bring intentionality back to how we find and share valuable content online.

Grace holds a Master’s degree in Communications from a renowned university in the United States, where her research focused on digital information curation and how people discover credible sources in an age of information overload. Her academic background gave her a deep understanding of how trust, authority, and human judgment shape the way we navigate the web.

Before launching Auffr, Grace spent nearly a decade working at the intersection of content strategy and community-driven platforms. She saw firsthand how algorithmic feeds often reward engagement over accuracy—and how passionate individuals with niche interests had no simple way to share their discoveries with others.

Why Auffr?
“I wanted a space where curiosity leads, not clicks,” Grace explains. “When someone shares a link on Auffr, they’re saying, ‘I found this valuable, and you might too.’ That act of human recommendation is powerful. It’s how the web was meant to work.”

Grace personally reviews platform policies, user feedback, and content quality guidelines to ensure Auffr remains a trustworthy environment for discovery. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking experimental recipes and walking her two rescue dogs through the Pacific Northwest trails.

How Auffr Works (Simply)

  1. Sign up for a free account.
  2. Submit links to websites, articles, tools, or resources that interest you.
  3. Discover links submitted by other members.
  4. Build your feed around topics you care about.

No bots. No paid placements. Just real people sharing real discoveries.

What We Believe

  • Curators matter more than crawlers. A human deciding to share a link is a signal of value.
  • Small communities beat infinite scroll. You don’t need millions of users to find great content—you need engaged ones.
  • Transparency builds trust. You should always know how your data is used and why you see what you see.

Meet the Team (Small but Mighty)

Beyond Grace, Auffr is supported by a lean team of moderators, developers, and community advisors who share her vision for ethical link discovery. We are based in the United States and operate fully remotely.

From Grace – A Personal Note

“I started Auffr because I was tired of losing great links in bookmarks I never revisited and feeds that showed me what was loudest, not what was best. I wanted a place where sharing a link felt meaningful—like handing a friend a book you loved.

My background in communications taught me that trust isn’t automatic. It’s built through consistent, honest actions. That’s what I’m building here. One link at a time.

When I’m not working on Auffr, you’ll find me in the kitchen trying to perfect a sourdough recipe or hiking with my dogs—who, by the way, have no interest in link discovery but are excellent walking companions.

Thank you for being here. Let’s discover something great together.”
